What’s New for the 2023 Honda HR-V?
Since its debut several years ago, the Honda HR-V has had bold appeal with small crossover SUV shoppers. In 2023, the Honda HR-V raises the bar to the delight of drivers in the Brighton area by debuting its second generation. The 2023 Honda HR-V has a modernized, sophisticated interior design and a revamped exterior that is undeniably sporty. You will find a power scoop rolling confidently down the cascading hood on the exterior. This draws attention to the reshaped grille and headlights. The smaller grille has an innovative mesh design with an elongated, honeycomb-style pattern. The LED headlights have a striking quality with their geometric shape and a beautiful ribbon of orange lighting running below the bulbs. At the rear, you will find a liftgate spoiler, edgy taillights, and a prominent bumper. Notably, the 2023 HR-V has a longer and wider stance.
Honda has also fine-tuned the 2023 HR-V’s performance capabilities by upgrading the HR-V to a standard 2.0-liter I-4 engine. The new 2.0-liter I-4 gas engine produces 158 horsepower, and it has been tweaked to be more responsive than the outgoing engine. The rear beam axle in the 2022 HR-V has been replaced with an independent rear suspension. All-wheel drive is available on all of the 2023 HR-V trim levels as well.
Honda has also made strides to modernize the HR-V’s many amazing features. For example, the Honda Sensing® technologies include traffic jam assist, a wide-view front camera, and traffic sign recognition. These are combined with carryover features from the 2022 model year, including lane-keep assist, adaptive cruise control, forward collision mitigation, and an available blind-spot monitor. Honda Sensing® is also now standard. Some of the many interior features available for the 2023 Honda HR-V are leather material, a 7-inch instrumentation screen, up to a 9-inch touch display screen, heated front seats, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, wireless Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, a wireless charging pad, satellite radio, a sunroof, USB ports, and a keyless ignition.
