What’s New for the 2023 Honda Passport?
The Honda Passport has maintained its strong appeal with Brighton-area SUV shoppers over the last few decades. It currently sits between the CR-V and the Pilot, offering ample cabin space with a two-row configuration. If you are considering upgrading to the 2023 Passport soon, you may be pleased to learn that all trims now have standard all-wheel drive. This exciting update is the only difference between the 2022 and 2023 Passport.
The three Passport trims continue to be the EX-L, the TrailSport, and the Elite. These trims all receive 280 horsepower from a V6, 3.5-liter engine. Its acceleration to 60 miles per hour requires only 6.8 seconds. This crossover also is engineered with weighted steering for superior handling.
The interior of the 2023 Honda Passport is refined with a long center console featuring a large storage space and a dashboard that curves toward the center stack. The base trim is spectacularly appointed with a seven-speaker sound system, keyless ignition, and entry, wireless device charging, remote engine start, an 8-inch touch display screen, Android Auto with Apple CarPlay, leather upholstery, a three-zone climate management system, heated front seats and driver’s memory functions. The higher trims may add ambient cabin lighting, rear window sunshades, a navigation system, a 115-volt power outlet, an upgraded audio system, a heated steering wheel, and more.
The 2023 Honda Passport has also been marvelously appointed from a safety perspective. All trims are equipped with a lane-keeping system, a blind-spot monitor, parking sensors, forward collision mitigation, and adaptive cruise control.
The exterior of the 2023 Passport continues to have the same athletic yet laid-back styling. A tall roof with roof rails in select trims defines this. The sides are styled with thick molding over the fenders and across the lower portion of the panels. On the nose, the grille has a wide, hexagon-style pattern. It links to horizontal, integrated headlights with an LED accent bar. Exterior features could include up to 20-inch wheels, a hands-free liftgate, power-folding and heated side mirrors, heated wipers, and a sunroof.
