What’s New for the 2024 Honda Accord?
The Honda Accord has been a preferred sedan among Brighton drivers for almost five decades, and its lasting appeal is rooted in its progressive evolution over 11 generations. The 11th generation was launched in 2023 with extensive style, features, and performance updates, so Honda has yet to make additional updates for the 2024 model year.
With its remarkably curved profile and captivating front-end design, the 2024 Accord garners attention everywhere it goes. The sides boast subtly rounded fenders and a thick rocker panel to show off the sedan’s sporty side. At the front, the tightly stacked ribbons in the hexagonal dashboard establish a linear theme. This theme continues throughout the almost-horizontal headlights, which are topped by an LED bar. Some of the 2024 Accord’s exterior equipment includes a moonroof, up to 19-inch wheels and rain-sensing wipers.
The first two of the 2024 Accord’s six trim levels are equipped with a four-cylinder, turbo 1.5-liter engine. This is a 192-horsepower system with front-wheel drive and a CVT. The other four trim levels have a non-turbo four-cylinder engine with a hybrid component. This is a front-wheel drive unit that produces 204 total horsepower.
The base Accord LX trim level is well-appointed with both cabin and safety features. These include Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, two USB-C ports, a digital instrument cluster, a wireless internet hotspot, a 7-inch central display screen, front collision mitigation, lane keeping, adaptive cruise control, and lane departure mitigation. If you choose a higher trim level, your 2024 Honda Accord could also come with a 12.3-inch central display screen, heated rear and front seats, an auto-dimming rear mirror, a head-up display, a Bose audio system with 12 speakers, a wireless phone charging pad, Google voice assistance, parking sensors, a head-up display, driver’s memory settings, additional USB ports, leather upholstery and wireless connections for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
