What’s New for the 2024 Honda CR-V?
The ever-popular Honda CR-V, now in its sixth generation since its full redesign in 2023, continues to impress in 2024 with the introduction of the Sport-L trim. The expanded trim lineup now includes the LX, EX, Sport, EX-L, Sport-L, and Sport Touring models. The Sport-L, a notable addition, features a hybrid powertrain, dark exterior accents, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, two rear USB ports, a 9-inch central display screen, low-speed auto braking, parking sensors, a wireless charging pad, driver’s side memory settings, leather upholstery, a power liftgate, and wireless connectivity for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
The LX, EX, and EX-L trims are equipped with a four-cylinder, turbocharged 1.5-liter engine producing 190 horsepower and a CVT and front-wheel drive. All-wheel drive is available as an upgrade for these trims. The remaining 2024 CR-V trims are powered by a four-cylinder hybrid system generating 204 combined horsepower with standard all-wheel drive.
Given the complete exterior refresh in 2023, the 2024 CR-V maintains its modern appeal with slanted pinstripe accents across the hood and side panels. Stylish elements include a thick bar of below-the-belt molding on the sides and a short front bumper emphasizing sporty air vents. The confident angle of the headlights, topped by a thick LED light bar, connects seamlessly to the bold, upturned grille.
The base trim level of the 2024 CR-V is well-appointed with features like Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, a push-button ignition, a 7-inch touch display screen, lane keeping, forward collision mitigation, adaptive cruise control, and more. In addition to the features mentioned for the Sport-L trim, higher trims offer amenities such as a heated steering wheel, a Bose sound system, a hands-free liftgate, ambient cabin lights, a blind-spot warning, and a moonroof.
