The popular Honda Pilot is an all-around smart pick for drivers in need of a third row of seats. Its fourth-generation launched in 2023 with extensive updates, and no improvements have been made to the 2024 version. The available trims are the LX, Sport, EX-L, TrailSport, Touring, and Elite. All of the 2024 model year’s trims come with a 285-horsepower, 3.5-liter, V6 engine, and this powertrain connects to an automatic 10-speed transmission. Except for the TrailSport and Elite trims, the Pilot has a standard front-wheel drive with the option to upgrade to all-wheel drive. The TrailSport and Elite trim levels come with standard all-wheel drive. The TrailSport is designed as a more rugged trim, and it adds a trailer hitch, skid plates, all-terrain tires, off-road stability management, and a raised and off-road suspension system.
