 What’s New for the 2024 Honda Ridgeline TrailSport?

The Honda Ridgeline is a functional, well-equipped midsize truck that checks all of your boxes. In 2024, this mid-generation truck introduces a larger storage space in the center console, an updated digital driver’s instrument cluster, and a larger central touch display screen. The most significant improvement to the 2024 Honda Ridgeline is the debut of the TrailSport trim level. The trim lineup from the base trim to the top option is the Sport, the RTL, the TrailSport, and the Black Edition.

The new 2024 Honda Ridgeline TrailSport is designed to elevate the truck’s performance and utility in a more robust range of driving conditions and situations. All trim levels have a 3.5-liter V6 gas engine. This comes with a nine-speed auto transmission and produces 280 horsepower. All Ridgeline trim levels for 2024 have all-wheel drive. The TrailSport exclusively comes with an under-body skid plate, an off-road suspension, and all-terrain tires to boost its performance.

In 2024, the full line of Honda Ridgeline trim levels has a 5-foot, 4-nch bed and a four-door cabin. The TrailSport trim level has the same overall exterior design as the other 2024 trim levels. The look includes a wide, tapered hood with a hint of angled definition that tapers in toward the grille. The sides are smooth, except for an upper pinstripe that extends from front to rear. Thin molding lines the sides and expands over the front and rear bumpers. At the front, the bumper is integrated with molded vertical air vents and a thin band of horizontal LED fog lamps. The tall grille is designed with a widely-spaced honeycomb pattern. The headlights are commanding and taper into a point at the sides. A hook-type LED ribbon caps the sides.

The Ridgeline TrailSport adds several cabin features and safety technologies. These are front and rear parking sensors, a navigation system, synthetic upholstery, orange accent stitching throughout the cabin, and a heated steering wheel. The TrailSport also offers features at the 2024 Ridgeline’s lower trim level. These include noise-reducing glass, a moonroof, driver’s seat memory controls, a power-sliding rear window, heated front seats, an auto-dimming rear mirror, adaptive cruise control, a 9-inch touch display screen, a keyless ignition, a wireless phone charger, lane keeping assistance, a blind-spot warning and forward collision mitigation.
