What’s New for the 2025 Honda Pilot?

The Honda Pilot continues to appeal strongly to SUV shoppers in the Brighton area who prioritize three rows of seats, comfort, and style. With the 2023 Pilot introducing the model’s fourth generation, the 2025 model boasts a modern edge. While most aspects remain unchanged, a few notable updates demand your attention.

The most significant change for the 2025 Honda Pilot is its trim lineup. The base trim level has been discontinued and replaced by the Sport trim, and a new top-tier trim, the Black Edition, has been introduced. The 2025 lineup now includes the Sport, EX-L, Touring, TrailSport, Elite, and Black Edition trims. Opting for the Black Edition treats you to leather upholstery with red accents and black detailing throughout the cabin and exterior.

The driving experience of the 2025 Honda Pilot remains consistent with the previous model year. It retains its V6, 3.5-liter gas engine producing 285 horsepower, paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission. With its maneuverability and towing capacity of 5,000 pounds, the Pilot excels in various driving conditions. The TrailSport trim features a lifted suspension system for enhanced off-road capability.

Externally, the 2025 Pilot sees minimal changes aside from those in the Black Edition trim. Its tall profile and sleek design remain distinctive, with a hexagonal grille featuring a large mesh weave and sleek horizontal headlights with LED accents.

Equipped with seating for seven to eight passengers across all trim levels, the Honda Pilot offers versatility and comfort. Depending on the trim, you’ll find either a bench seat or a captain’s chair in the second row. Infotainment features include 7-inch or 9-inch display screens, along with wireless smartphone connectivity. Additional amenities across select trims include wireless phone charging, heated seats, traffic jam assist, push-button ignition, multi-zone automatic climate control, and various assistive technologies.
