The 2023 Honda Civic’s base trim level draws 158 horsepower from its 2.0-liter, four-cylinder engine. The Civic EX and EX-L have a 180-horsepower turbo four-cylinder engine, and the Civic Si has an upgraded version of this system that generates 200 horsepower. The top-of-the-line Civic Type R gets 315 horsepower from a four-cylinder, turbo 2.0-liter engine. In comparison, most of the 2023 Accord’s trims have a 1.5-liter turbo, four-cylinder, 192-horsepower engine. The other available powertrain is a hybrid four-cylinder unit that generates 204 horsepower.
Appearance
The 2023 Civic is a smaller, four-door car with aggressive styling. At the front end, the Civic has a lean, black grille capped on the sides by bold headlights. These angled headlamps are accented on two sides by a stunning LED ribbon. The Civic has a black bumper with separated, black air vents. The sides have an upper pinstripe line and a thicker, angled definition line crossing the lower door panels. The 2023 Accord, on the other hand, has fastback styling with smooth surfaces on the angled hood and door panels. The grille has a rectangular stance, the LED-boosted headlights run linearly. The front bumper is dressed up with metallic accents.
Features
