2023 Honda CR-V Sport Hybrid vs 2023 Honda CR-V EX-L

Serving Brighton, MI

The Honda CR-V has been a desired compact crossover SUV in the lineup since 1997. For most of its history, it has been powered by gas engines, and the CR-V Hybrid joined the options a few years ago. Five options are available across the combined trims for the CR-V and CR-V Hybrid. These include the base LX followed by the EX, Sport, EX-L, and Sport Touring. Our Serra Honda Brighton sales associates are standing by to assist with your deep look at mid-range trims like the Honda CR-V Sport Hybrid and the 2023 CR-V EX-L.

Performance

The Honda CR-V EX-L has a turbo 1.5-liter, four-cylinder powertrain that produces 190 horsepower and pairs with a continuously variable transmission. The CR-V Sport Hybrid gets 204 combined horsepower from a hybrid four-cylinder, 2.0-liter engine. Like the CR-V EX-L, the CR-V Sport Hybrid has a continuously variable auto transmission.

Appearance

For 2023, the Honda CR-V and CR-V Hybrid have been fully redesigned with a modernized, athletic look. They have identical facades, but there are differences in their exterior features. The style is defined by smooth contours on the sides, a subtle crease on the upper door panels, and a thick molding strip on the lower panels. The front end boasts a staggered mesh design in the grille and a short bumper with angled air intakes. The lean, pointed headlights are styled with an LED accent bar. Both versions of the 2023 CR-V come with 17-inch wheels or larger. The CR-V EX-L adds a power moonroof and heated side mirrors. The CR-V Hybrid Sport also has roof rails, heated side mirrors, and dark trim.

Features

The 2023 CR-V Sport Hybrid is well-equipped with a dual-zone auto climate control system, a six-speaker sound system, heated front seats, adaptive cruise control, lane keeping, a 7-inch touch display screen, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, forward collision mitigation, and several other desired features. The features available for the 2023 CR-V EX-L build on those offered in the Sport Hybrid include low-speed auto braking, an eight-speaker audio system, wireless device charging, a 9-inch central display screen, leather upholstery and driver’s side memory settings.
