Serving Brighton, MI

For many years, the Honda Pilot has been a favorite among drivers in the Brighton area. In 2023, the SUV enters its fourth generation, featuring exciting updates from front to back. At Serra Honda Brighton, we’re here to help you explore the changes and improvements in the latest Pilot model.

Performance

Both the 2022 and 2023 Honda Pilot models offer excellent performance capabilities. The 2022 model has a 280-horsepower V6 gas engine paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission. The lower trims provide the option of front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive, while the higher trims come with standard all-wheel drive. The 2023 model boasts a new 3.5-liter V6 engine, producing 285 horsepower, paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission. In addition, the Pilot TrailSport edition will feature enhanced off-road suspension, all-terrain tires, steel skid plates, and other off-road enhancements.

Appearance

The 2023 Honda Pilot has undergone complete restyling, with slightly larger dimensions. The new design features a flatter nose, a larger and more upright grille, and rectangular horizontal headlights. The lower fascia is sleek with thin linear elements and moderate air vents. The sides have a clean and smooth look, with subtle definition. The redesign results in a more powerful stance and a sportier profile. Inside, the Pilot features a redesigned interior with long, sophisticated lines, a floating central display screen, and a center console that ascends to meet the dashboard. By comparison, the 2022 Pilot has a more rounded and serene appearance.

Features

The 2023 and 2022 Honda Pilot both offer exciting standard features. The 2023 Honda Pilot offers a standard 7-inch touchscreen with physical tuning knobs, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, 18-inch alloy wheels, and keyless entry. Some of the 2023 Pilot’s available features include leather upholstery, a panoramic moonroof, navigation, a larger 9-inch HD touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 10.2-inch digital instrument cluster, and more. Some of the available features in the 2022 Honda Pilot include a heated steering wheel, a panoramic moonroof, second-row captain’s chairs, a WiFi hotspot, ambient cabin lighting, Honda Sensing equipment, a cabin intercom system, a rear entertainment center, a household power outlet, a wireless charging pad, a hands-free liftgate, and many other items. It’s likely these will also be available on the 2023 Pilot depending on the trim you select. For the redesigned Pilot, the Honda Sensing® system has also been improved to offer you even better advanced safety features and driver-assistive technologies.
