For this warranty, lifetime means for as long as the original purchaser owns the vehicle and satisfies the written warranty’s requirements. It covers qualifying mechanical breakdowns of specified powertrain components. Coverage is nontransferable. A $100 deductible applies per covered repair visit. Towing and substitute transportation are not covered. Prior authorization from the warranty administrator is required before covered repairs begin. To maintain coverage, follow the manufacturer’s recommended maintenance schedule and retain service records and receipts. Engine oil and filter changes are required at least every 6 months or 7,500 miles, whichever comes first, or more frequently when required by the manufacturer’s schedule or maintenance indicator.
